Job Description:

Collaborate closely with the Lead Pastor to empower students in their journey of faith and inspire them to make a meaningful impact on the world. Take ownership of key aspects of the ministry area, providing strategic leadership to volunteers and leaders. As the Youth Director, you will serve as a pivotal decision-maker, ensuring alignment with FAITH’s vision and strategy while fostering the development of volunteers and staff. Additionally, you will offer personal expertise and guidance within the realm of Youth ministry as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide pastoral leadership to students and volunteer teams, guiding them towards a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Teach and lead in both small and large group settings to facilitate spiritual growth and development.
• Maintain consistent communication and engagement with staff, volunteers, congregation members, and other leaders within the community.
• Develop leaders within the ministry to support its growth and impact, with a focus on cultivating community.
• Establish partnerships within the community to provide serve opportunities for students.

Qualifications:

• Genuine desire to serve Christ in Glendora, CA.
• Strong communication skills, including verbal proficiency in speaking to groups, as well as written and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a church or para-church organization.
• High level of biblical literacy, with a seminary degree considered beneficial though not required.
• History of successful collaboration within a team-oriented environment.
