Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds and lives of young children. Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum that promote learning and development in areas such as literacy, math, physical education, and social skills
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that fosters creativity, exploration, and positive social interactions
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child's unique needs and abilities
- Conduct assessments to monitor children's progress and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with parents or guardians to ensure open communication about their child's development and address any concerns or questions
- Foster a love for learning through engaging activities, stories, songs, and games
- Encourage independence, self-confidence, and positive behavior in children
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and milestones
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting
- Knowledge of special education practices and early intervention strategies
- Familiarity with curriculum development and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Understanding of child welfare guidelines and regulations
