Overview
M Health Fairview is seeking a Nutrition Aide for our Woodwinds Hospital! This position offers 64 hours over a 2-week pay period and is benefit eligible! The pay starts at $20.01 an hr.
Summary : Prepare food according to guidelines, deliver meals to patients, stock supplies, provide service to all customers and / or perform tasks that relate to food preparation, sanitation and service.

Week 1
Wednesday : 7 : 00AM-3 : 30PM
Friday : 7 : 00AM-3 : 30PM
Week 2
Monday : 6 : 45AM-3 : 15PM
Tuesday : 7 : 00AM-3 : 30PM
Wednesday : 7 : 00AM-3 : 30PM
Saturday : 7 : 00AM-3 : 30PM
Sunday : 7 : 00AM-3 : 30PM
Responsibilities Job Description
- Maintains knowledge of, and follows, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures and standards
- Covers, labels, dates and rotates all food prior to storing to ensure department and regulatory agency standards are met
- Washes dishes and / or pots and pans according to established procedures and time frames
- Practices proper infection control methods including hand-washing, personal hygiene and infection control policies
- Performs a specific task on trayline during the assembly of patient trays
- Delivers trays to patients, collects trays after meal service. Delivers floor stock and / or nourishments to patients and nursing unit
Qualifications
Required Qualifications :
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- No experience required
- No Academic Credentials
Desired Skills :
- Achieves thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment; familiar with cleaning products, chemicals, and safety procedures
- Ability to use a computer and applications that are associated with performing basic work tasks (use a mouse, navigate in Windows, Outlook, etc)
- Integration of activities, structures, and responsibilities so that resources are used most effectively to meet objectives
- Skilled in developing effective rapport with customers, co-workers, or families, actively listening to develop a positive connection
