Overview

M Health Fairview is looking for a Nutrition Services Aide to eventually train in as a shift Lead on the Ridges Campus in Burnsville, Minnesota! This opportunity entails preparing food portions, assembles and disassembles patient trays in a safe manner, serves customers, delivers and retrieves patient trays.

We are looking for someone with previous Lead / Shift Supervisor experience in a food & beverage environment. However, we will consider other strong candidates.

This position is an evening (4 / 4 : 30PM-8PM) position with 6 shifts required per pay period.

Responsibilities Job Description

• Approximately 50 employees in the department
• Benefits included for positions with 48 hours per pay period or above.
• 150 bed hospital
• Handles and stores food safely while following HACCP standard operating procedures.
• Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Exhibits abilities to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.
• Works as a team to ensure proper cleaning procedures are used to sanitize dirty dishes.
• Frequently grabs soiled utility carts from various floors in the building and cleans all items as needed.
• Records data and logs it using daily operations paperwork provided to ensure accurate temps are in place.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications :

• High school diploma / G.E.D
• 6 months Supervisor / Manager expereince
