Fairview Health Services is Hiring a Learning Specialist Near Hibbing, MN
Overview
Develops, organizes, and maintains a coordinated system of educational services supporting Fairview Range based on the principles of adult learning. This position is temporary for up to 1 year.
Responsibilities/Job Description
- Applies standard training and adult learning principles in daily educational activities.
- Supports the orientation program of the organization.
- Professional Development - Ensures improvement in professional practice by assuming responsibility for self-development in life-long learning. Demonstrates leadership abilities.
- Supports ongoing performance and competency of Fairview Range employees.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma.
- Experience using the principles and practices of adult learning. Demonstrated skills in leadership and communication.
Preferred:
- Two years teaching experience.
- Associate degree desired. Bachelor’s degree in education or health related field preferred.
- Course work and experience in educational processes and management desired. AHA instructor status preferred.
