We are seeking an Apprentice Optician to join our team. As an Apprentice Optician, you will learn on the job to play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and assisting our patients in finding the perfect eyewear to meet their needs. Responsibilities you will learn:
- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyewear based on their prescription, lifestyle, and preferences
- Take accurate measurements of customers' pupillary distance and optical centers
- Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and frame materials
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed
- Process orders for eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other optical products
- Maintain accurate records of customer prescriptions and orders
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology

Skills:
- Strong computer skills
- Proficiency in retail math for accurate pricing and invoicing
- Experience in retail sales or customer service required
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to ophthalmology and optometry a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
