Job Description:
The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and inviting. This includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets. The Room Attendant must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and must be able to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Clean guest rooms according to established standards
- Make beds, change linens, and clean bathrooms
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and clean mirrors and windows
- Restock guest room supplies, such as soap and shampoo
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Assist with laundry and other housekeeping duties as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to guests
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
