Job Summary:
The Room Attendant at Fairfield Inn & Suites - Charlotte University Research Park is responsible for creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for our guests through providing high-quality housekeeping services. This is a full-time, hourly position in the hospitality/restaurant industry located in xxx, North Carolina. This role is an individual contributor, reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager. The successful candidate will receive a competitive compensation of $15 per hour, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and attention to detail
- Change bed linens, vacuum carpets, dust and polish furniture, and replenish bathroom and room amenities
- Respond promptly to guest requests and maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times
- Report any maintenance issues or damages in the guest rooms to the Housekeeping Manager
- Follow established procedures for the storage and disposal of lost and found items
- Adhere to all safety and security policies and procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and laundry items
- Assist with the laundering of guest room linens and towels
- Maintain a neat and organized work area at all times
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure guest satisfaction and efficient workflow
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Physically able to push, pull, and lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays
