Description
Serves as a member of a team of network analysts required for performing complex divisionwide support for functional networks and applications systems to include network configuration, installation, problem determination, and documentation.
Qualifications
Required
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Five (5) years of progressive data communications experience, to include applicable server and workstation experience and computer applications support, three (3) years of which shall have been as a network analyst.
- Experience with the routing protocols, and expert knowledge of routers, switches, and hubs theory and operations.
- May work flexible hours to meet the needs of the school/community.
- Knowledge of theory, concepts, and practices of network administration, functional applications, and remote access services.
- Expertise and knowledge of, principles and practices of networking technologies.
- Skill in equipment used to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and communicate.
- Ability to plan and lead a team.
- Ability to write detailed reports, specifications, user instructions, and contract documents.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Certifications in current technologies.
