Required

• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or possession of a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) certificate.
• Five (5) years of progressively more responsible experience in a human resources specialty, two (2) years of which shall have been at a level requiring independent judgment.
• Knowledge of the practices, procedures, and policies of human resources.
• Proficiency in the use of technology.
• Ability to compile, process, and analyze data and reporting.
• Attention to detail; ability to think critically and exercise good judgment.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately with quantitative information and verify the correctness of actions.
• Ability to work independently and exercise initiative.
• Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with culturally diverse central office staff.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Preferred

• Experience with employee award and recognition porgrams
• Experience with event planning
