Job Summary: This position requires a wide variety of semi-skilled work in maintaining and repairing school district buildings roof repairs and gymnasium equipment.

Performs independent job assignments as directed by the Carpenter Mechanic

Hourly Rate: $20.00 per hour
Work Day: Less the 15 hours per week
Benefits: There are no benefits associated with this position
Job Qualifications/Requirements (please review job description for qualifications and duties of the position):

High school education or equivalent.

Two (2) years of experience in carpentry maintenance, or other related work.

Must have experience operating equipment.

Demonstrated skills in preparing and maintaining basic records and reports.

Must have math skills sufficient to perform basic math functions and use simple formulas such as determining square footage and using ratios correctly.

Must have computer skills sufficient to complete mandatory training

Must have proven interpersonal skills sufficient to establish and maintain effective working relations with subordinates, supervisors, building staff and public.

Must have mechanical ability and knowledge to perform assigned duties with little supervision or training.

Must have physical fitness, stamina, and agility for heavy physical labor in all weather conditions for an extended period of time.

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
