Fahrenheit 132 steakhouse is actively looking to fill a full-time host position!
The host position is full-time and non-seasonal, with the ideal candidate being able to offer a 1 year commitment. In times are from 2p-5p and range from 5–8 hours-long shifts. Holiday and weekend availability are a must. This position will be required to stand for most, if not all, of these hours; so being able to handle long hours on your feet is very important. Pay is hourly, plus cash tips daily, which normally equates to about $17-$22/hour.
To be fair, though, it is important to state that this job is NOT EASY; we are very busy which means dealing with the phones ringing, people coming and going, seating tables, updating table information, updateing menus, checking coats, following through with guest requests, etc etc.
The ideal candidate would be responsible, on-time, friendly, clean, organized, high attention to detail, confident, and a great multitasker. Someone with basic alcohol/cocktail knowledge is a huge plus as well.
As a host, you would be the first friendly, welcoming face that our guests interact with, setting the tone for their entire visit. Hosting duties include, but are not limited to:
