The Associate Director, Patient Services is responsible for directing, coordinating, implementing, monitoring and overseeing the team of the centralized Patient Services Department and maintaining positive relationships between the Patient Services Department and FPI Clinical Practices. This role must provide effective operational leadership, including strategy development, performance analysis, and implementation of high performing patient services functions using industry best practices. Responsible for patient services and registration quality for FPI Clinical Practices.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• MBA or MHA preferred or BA in related field combined with minimum five years of managed Care experience or combination of education and experience can be considered.
• Minimum three years management experience and at least two years administrative experience
• Knowledge of back and front office operations
• Knowledge and understanding of FPI contracts
• Knowledge of inpatient, critical care, emergency and/or outpatient procedures
• Current knowledge of GE/IDX, EPIC or similar computerized billing system
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
• Strong customer service skills
• PC proficiency
