We are looking for an Mechanical Assembly Operator. This position will be based Broken Arrow, OK

1st Shift Hours 6 : 00AM - 2 : 30 PM

2nd Shift hours : 3 : 00AM - 11 : 30PM

The Wirer will have the responsibility of the assembly processes in a transfer switch manufacturing environment. You will be accountable to read & understand mechanical diagrams, wiring diagrams and BOMs to perform all wiring and assembly activities in assigned job by the lead or supervisor.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications :

Basic Qualifications :

Ability to work in a team on complex tasks and get the tasks completed in a timely manner.

Assemble switches and related equipment.

Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and BOMs provided.

Ability to build electrical panels using proper power tools and hardware.

Detail oriented to ensure proper assembly work is done in a timely manner.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Ability to work daily / weekend overtime as required to meet shops demands.

Knowledge of safe working practices.

Able to read and write.

Ability to lift 40 lbs.

Ability to solder a plus, but not required.

Ability to stand for 10 hours.

Ability to operate basic tools.

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications :

High School Education or equivalent experience or GED equivalent.

The pay range for this position is $17 per hour. You will receive a 15% shift difference for 2nd shift. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
