Day Shift Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm Job Description:Coordinate with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure efficient, continuous operations. Support management team on achieving annual goals and targets. Ensure products have been filled, labeled, and sealed accurately.Train production operators on safe and efficient performance of tasks.Ensure proper inspection and use of personal safety equipment; maintain appropriate documentation on same.Ensure tooling materials (bulk and packaging components) are reset in time.Assist in tool and inventory checks as required.Monitor quality of products; detect and correct issues as they arise.Support Supervisor with staff scheduling and performance reviews.Oversee department in the absence of the supervisor or manager.Follow and adhere to all given instructions including work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).Strictly adhere and observe all safety policies as outlined in the company policies and training sessions.Other duties as assigned. Requirements:Minimum two years’ experience in manufacturing, preferably in a current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) facility.Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot equipment.Completion of secondary school with a graduation diploma (an asset).Previous supervisory experience (an asset).Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English.Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work within stringent time constraints. Ability to motivate staff in a positive manner.Strong organizational and time management skills.Solid consciousness for safety.An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
