Description

Solar Project Manager (Electrician) - Travel Required

Location: Tri-State Area (Based out of NY, CT, NJ)

Job Scope

The Solar Project Manager (Electrician) will blend the roles of a skilled electrician with solar installation experience and a seasoned Project Manager to oversee and manage solar projects primarily within the Tri-State Area. This position requires national travel, focusing on coordinating electrical aspects of solar installations while ensuring projects are completed within established timelines and budget constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage solar projects, specifically focusing on electrical aspects, from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and clients to meet project objectives.
  • Ensure successful project completion within established timelines and budget constraints by closely monitoring project progress and making necessary adjustments.
  • Travel to project sites within the Tri-State Area as required to oversee installations, troubleshoot issues, and provide on-site support.
  • Continually enhance customer relationships throughout the project implementation phase. Develop comprehensive project staffing plans, including labor, subcontractors, project managers, and project engineers.
  • Act as the primary liaison between local facility staff and regional team members, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor, control, and report on the financial performance of projects, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Secure subcontractor relationships and manage subcontractors and the FSG project execution team effectively.
  • Audit and design quality assurance and control procedures to mitigate project risks and ensure high-quality installations.
  • Manage, motivate, and continuously improve assigned staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Oversee participation in all aspects of job site safety and ensure adherence to OSHA standards.
