Facility Pen Bay Medical Center is Hiring a Medical assistant Near Rockport, ME
Your Role :
is searching immediately for a full-time Medical Assistant in a busy practice. The Medical Assistant Functions as a member of the clinical team performing a supportive role in the delivery of patient care that is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) :
- Education : High school diploma or GED preferred. Must meet one of the following requirements : graduated from an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting with 160 hours of clinical experience completed;
- or completion of an Adult Education Medical Assistant program and 6 months of clinical experience in a practice setting;
License / Certifications : Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification preferred or achieved within 1 year of eligibility.
Current BLS certification within 3 months of hire required. An NH Med Tech License is required for those positions located in New Hampshire.
Experience : Relevant experience as a Medical Assistant preferred. Additional Skills / Requirements Required : N / A Additional Skills / Requirements Preferred : N / A
