Facilities Maintenance Management is Hiring an Electrical Technician Near Denham Springs, LA

 FMM is seeking a motivated professional to fulfill our Electrical Technician position. FMM is a maintenance and construction company servicing both residential and commercial clients nationwide. 
Job Summary: Responsible for servicing, troubleshooting and repairing, or installing electrical components in a residential or commercial setting. Technician may be assigned to one, multiple, or out of area locations and must be available for after hour emergency calls on occasion.
Essential Job Duties: (Included but not limited to) 
  • Responsible for all necessary maintenance and minor repairs to clients' electrical systems. Must have working knowledge of commercial and residential building electrical systems to ensure proper operations. Must be able to act upon any conditions that are out of the ordinary.
  • Ability to install electrical components in new construction and renovations for both commercial and residential buildings.
  • Be responsive to requests in the areas of safety related to electrical installation and operation through managerial direction, personal contact with clients, and work order systems.
  • Perform all assigned work so as to ensure the safety of the building occupants and insure continuous operation.
  • Be familiar with and conform to all written operating procedures associated with the site.
Required Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience: 
  • High School Diploma
  • Five (5) years previous experience
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions using FMM's core values of Quality, Teamwork, Pride, Passion and Integrity
  • Proficient in computer, text, and email skills
  • May perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
  • Ability to pass a Fit for Duty Screening
