Fabian Oil is actively searching for a talented individual to join the Fabian family as an entry / mid-level assistant who will help both our marketing and HR departments. This position will be responsible for developing content for marketing material, including both photo & video. The right candidate should have some experience and be confident with DSLR and Mirrorless cameras. This position will require the candidate to travel to work sites, job fairs, and trades shows across the state to gather material and spread awareness of the Fabian brand. This position will be working in an environment with other Fabian employees, external vendors, and customers, so an outgoing personality and great team spirit is REQUIRED.

This position will also be responsible for recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new Fabian employees. An ideal candidate will have some experience in talent acquisition and basic HR roles. We're looking for someone who can utilize current technology and our marketing channels to attract and retain great employees.

This is a new position for Fabian, so someone who is willing to get creative, develop new strategies, and isn't afraid of recommending bold ideas will be best suited for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to various job sites across Maine to photograph / film content for our online and print marketing materials.
• Find, recommend, and attend job fairs and trade shows across Maine to promote the Fabian brand and source talented candidates for any open positions.
• Assist the marketing department in actively managing one or more social media platforms.
• Specialize in TikTok and Instagram reel filming, editing, and distributing.
• Contact trade schools, colleges, and other vendors to establish and maintain a healthy network of talent acquisition channels.
• Complete the hiring process from start to finish including all HR related on-boarding tasks.
• Assist the Marketing Department with other marketing related needs as necessary.
• Assist the HR Department with other office / HR related needs as necessary.

• Must be confident with DSLR or mirrorless cameras for both photography and videography.
• Must have some customer service / HR related experience.
• Should be familiar with TikTok & Instagram, and be confident in filming, editing, and distributing content on said platforms.
• Must be abundantly friendly and outgoing.
• Willing to travel across the state for content, job fairs, and / trade shows. (Mileage and toll reimbursement is available)
• Should have relevant marketing / social media experience or proven ability.
