Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks related to warehouse operations, including order picking, loading and unloading, and materials handling. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and operating equipment such as a forklift.
Responsibilities:
- Pick orders accurately and efficiently using an order picker
- Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing shipments
- Perform inventory counts and stock replenishment
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and process orders
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet productivity goals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
- Proficient in operating warehouse equipment such as a forklift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory management
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 100lbs) on a regular basis
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
