CNC Machine Operator with Packing and Picking

Fab Glass and Mirror, a rapidly expanding company renowned for its exceptional glass and mirror products, is currently seeking a proficient CNC Machine Operator capable of handling packing and picking duties at our Oldsmar, FL facility. Responsibilities:

• CNC Machine Operation:

• Efficiently operate CNC machines to fabricate high-quality glass and mirror products in adherence to provided specifications.

• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure precision and accuracy in machining tasks.

• Monitor and maintain CNC machinery, making adjustments as needed to guarantee optimal performance.

• Packing and Picking:

• Skillfully pack finished products according to established guidelines to ensure safe transportation and delivery.

• Perform picking tasks accurately by selecting items from inventory based on orders received, maintaining order and precision in the process.

• Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough inspections of finished products to verify compliance with quality standards before packing and shipping.

• Report any identified defects or issues promptly to supervisors for resolution.

• Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials to maintain a safe work environment.

• Comply with company policies and procedures concerning quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

• Collaboration and Communication:

• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and meet deadlines.

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management regarding any concerns, delays, or specific job requirements.

Requirements:

• Prior experience operating CNC machines, preferably within the glass or manufacturing industry.

• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

• Ability to efficiently perform packing and picking tasks with precision and attention to detail.

• Physical capability to lift and move heavy materials as required.

• Strong commitment to quality control and compliance with safety protocols.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 – 8 per week
