F&M Electric Supply Lighting Showroom

We are seeking a qualified Sales Consultant to join our Lighting Showroom team. You will provide knowledge and support in educating and guiding customers and prospect queries with the impact that lighting can have on their homes. Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a knowledge of sales and customer service best practices. We are looking for someone who excels in a team environment and has exceptional people skills. Experience is preferred, but not necessary for someone willing to learn.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Welcoming all walk-in showroom customers and addressing their lighting needs
• Creating sales quotations
• Working with Lighting Designers, Architects, and builders on projects
• Listening to customers and asking questions to better understand their lighting needs
• Processing orders placed by phone or email
• Customer support
• Vendor communication

Skills:

• Must be sales/customer oriented
• Quick learner and have strong internet research skills
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Excellent verbal, written, and phone skills
• Must be customer service-minded and have problem-solving skills
• Must be computer skilled and be able to use Microsoft Office Programs
• Job Type: Full-time

Education

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience
