About the Role

We are seeking a videographer to join our Marketing department!

*The Videographer position is an on-campus position as this role involves shooting campus life and in-person events. Remote work is not offered.*?

Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit trendy, high-quality promotional and ad videos ?
• Provide creative for social media content on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn by taking and editing photographs and short videos
• Provide creative for our website and YouTube such as how-to videos, graduate spotlights, campus tours, etc.
• Photograph and shoot videos of class demonstrations/campus life to use in promotions
• Create basic thumbnail graphics used on blog posts and YouTube channel
• Attend special events such as Open Houses to shoot promotional content
• Schedule film shoots, coordinate talent, and set up film equipment
• Create custom titles, lower thirds, etc.
• Work on special projects for the marketing department.

Recommended Requirements

• Mid-level to expert experience in camera operating, lighting, audio, and editing
• Must be able to research and create content that is relevant to the 16-25 age demographic
• Record of success in mid-level videography roles
• Confident, driven, dynamic design and video editing skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to work independently
• Storytelling passion – the ability to evoke emotion and create visual storytelling
• Creative thinking abilities to spot original branding opportunities
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere. After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, and Illustrator are a plus.
• Graphic Design experience is a plus.

Requirement

• High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to physically access and navigate each department at our facility.

The salary range for this role is $25.00 - $27.00 per hour.
