Job Overview:
Must have strong sales background. We will provide on the job training for 8 weeks, with potential for increased pay after 8 week evaluation. We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our retail store.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
- Conduct sales transactions using a cash register and POS system
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of merchandise
- Meet or exceed sales goals on a regular basis
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date on current promotions, sales, and company policies
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in jewelry or electronics
- Proficient in basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
