General Function:

To uncover the visual needs of our customers and patients. Recommend the best procedures that meets those needs. Build Brand by exemplary Customer Service Experience. Willing to train the right candidate.

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Personally assist customers by giving prompt, courteous and professional service.
  • Knowledge of Optical Insurance
  • Product Knowledge
  • Knowledge of promotions, sales and discounts of Company
  • Dispense optical eye wear in accordance with professional standards
  • Performs repairs, adjustments, verifies accuracy of completed eye wear
  • Instruct Contact Lens insertion and removal class
  • Achieve established Sales and Customer Service objectives

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to travel
  • Organizational skills
  • Computer skills
  • Be able to neutralize eyeglass lenses
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics and algebra

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous Optical Sales/Retail Sales and/or Customer Service work experience
  • Able to work flexible hours including some nights and Saturday
