Eyecare Associates of Southwest Iowa is a small business in Shenandoah, IA. We are dedicated to servicing all the eyecare needs of our community.

We are looking for an Optician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional advice and assistance to customers in selecting eyewear, taking accurate measurements, and fitting eyeglasses. The Optician must have excellent customer service skills, a thorough knowledge of optical products, and the ability to work well with other staff members. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is passionate about helping people see their best.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that best suit their needs.
  • Measure customers' eyes for the correct fit of eyeglasses.
  • Adjust and repair eyeglasses.
  • Maintain records of patient care and vision services provided.
  • Provide customer service and answer questions about products and services.
  • Inform patients of their options for vision correction.
  • Office hours are from 8-5 M-F and 8-11:30 Saturday
  • This position will be scheduled 2-4 days during the week and every Saturday morning.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week
