We are a small but growing optometry office located in Kuna, looking to add a qualified team leader to our amazing team as a full time Medical Assistant/Team Lead. As a Team Lead, you are expected to lead by example and continually strive to develop important leadership skills. You will be expected to motivate and inspire your team to accomplish team goals, by creating an environment that promotes positive communication, encourages bonding of team members, and demonstrates flexibility. Continue to add new skills and advance your career through our ongoing training opportunities. You will be the contact point for our Kuna Team, so your communication skills should be excellent. Job Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include:
Monitor patient flow and doctors schedule
Clinical work ups: Gather medical history and reason for the visit, complete diagnostic testing and necessary documentation
Explaining insurance benefits to patients
Assist the Optometrist as needed during examinations
Show patients how to properly care for contact lens/ trainings
Contact lens ordering
Oversee day to day operations
Solving problems and resolving conflict
Providing direction and guidance
Motivate team members
Monitor team performance
Monitor day to day clinic operation
Communicate with our manager and managing doctors
Attend leadership meetings once a month in Nampa
Hours required for this position:
Monday 8:30am-5:30 pm
Tuesday 9:30am-7pm
Wednesday 8:30am-5:30pm (Nampa office 8:30-9:30 for weekly team meeting)
Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm
Friday 8:00am-3:30pm
