We are a small but growing optometry office located in Kuna, looking to add a qualified team leader to our amazing team as a full time Clinical Technician / Team Lead.

As a Team Lead, you are expected to lead by example and continually strive to develop important leadership skills. You will be expected to motivate and inspire your team to accomplish team goals, by creating an environment that promotes positive communication, encourages bonding of team members, and demonstrates flexibility.

You will be the contact point for our Kuna Team, so your communication skills should be excellent.

Responsibilities Job responsibilities include :

  • Monitor patient flow and doctors schedule
  • Clinical work ups : Gather medical history and reason for the visit, complete diagnostic testing and necessary documentation
  • Explaining insurance benefits to patients
  • Assist the Optometrist as needed during examinations
  • Show patients how to properly care for contact lens / trainings
  • Contact lens ordering
  • Oversee day to day operations
  • Solving problems and resolving conflict
  • Providing direction and guidance
  • Motivate team members
  • Monitor team performance
  • Monitor day to day clinic operation
  • Communicate with our manager and managing doctors
  • Attend leadership meetings once a month in Nampa

Hours required for this position :

  • Monday 8 : 30am-5 : 30 pm
  • Tuesday 9 : 30am-7pm
  • Wednesday 8 : 30am-5 : 30pm (Nampa office 8 : 30-9 : 30 for weekly team meeting)
  • Thursday 8 : 30am-5 : 30pm
  • Friday 8 : 00am-3 : 30pm

Required Skills Lead Clinical Technician required skills & qualifications include :

  • Must be able to maintain a professional attitude and be reliable
  • The ability to connect and communicate well with patients
  • Strong communicator - written and verbal
  • Able to multitask, manage time wisely; detail-oriented
  • Team-player with a positive attitude
  • Decision making skills
  • Able to work as a team and independently
  • Optometry experience preferred
  • Leadership experience- REQUIRED
  • High school diploma or GED- REQUIRED
  • Less than 1 hour ago
