Eye Surgical Associates is the most experienced ophthalmology clinic in Lincoln, NE. We specialize in medical and surgical treatment of the eye. Our 11 Ophthalmologists and one Optometrist possess an immense amount of experience, offering a high level of assurance that their patient's vision is in the best hands.

Our highly skilled team is dedicated to providing the best and most personalized care possible. We are looking for candidates for our Ophthalmic Technician position who are patient focused, possess a positive attitude and have a passion for the medical field. This position is eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus!

Hours: Monday - Friday, with availability from 6:45 am - 5:00 pm

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic tests on patients of all ages.
  • Responsible for rooming patient and taking patient history such as reason for visit, medication, medical history and visual acuity.
  • Position will cross train in a variety of specialties within ophthalmology.
  • Position will assist ophthalmologists with patient exams and procedures.

Qualifications


  • Positive, patient focused attitude
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be dependable, a team player, able to multi-task effectively, and provide excellent customer service
  • Prefer graduate of a medical assisting, surgical technology program or related field, current LPN or CNA license, or equivalent ophthalmology experience
  • Medication Aide licensure
    • We provide on the job training and time to complete your Medication Aide certification
    • We will reimburse you for these courses and certification
