Eye Surgeons is Hiring an Ophthalmic Technician Near Monroe, MI

Eye Surgeons Associates. We are looking for a qualified Ophthalmic Tech to join our team. This is a full-time position with hours varying from 7:45 am to 6:00 pm. You may have to float to our other offices located in Canton and Livonia. Duties include assisting with patient flow by preparing patients for exams/procedures, performing routine testing such as visual acuity, lensometry, keratometry, tonometry and other diagnostic / technical testing. Tech will document eye exam findings under the direction of our physicians accurately into the electronic medical record. We are a busy practice that has served the community for over 30 years. We offer a supportive work environment, very competitive salary and benefits. We are looking for an individual who is able to multi-task, problem solve, shows initiative and enjoys working as part of a team. Must be adaptable, detail oriented with good communication, spelling and strong computer skills. Previous experience or training as an ophthalmic technician required. COA/COT desired.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
