Job Description

Job Description
Eye Surgeons Associates is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician II (Tech II) to join our practice! The Tech II assist the ophthalmologist with patient care by performing ocular examination. Primary responsibilities will be the performance of preliminary patient work ups such as, but not limited to, performing lensometry, perform auto-keratometry, perform retinoscopy or auto refraction, perform BAT and IOL Master, open and close exam rooms, monitor the physicians' patient schedule and more.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalency required
  • Some college courses or degree preferred
  • Experience in optometry or ophthalmology preferred
  • Must possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and have strong keyboarding skills
  • Must be able to compute basic math

Office hours: Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm Friday 8am-12pm
