Eye Mechanix is Hiring an Optician Near La Grange, IL

We are looking for Experienced Opticians to join our teams in La Grange IL and/or Lincoln Park, Chicago. Are you friendly, professional, and outgoing, with a passion for eyewear? Have you been looking for the chance to work for an Independent Optometrist? Are you looking for an opportunity for advancement?

Our weekly work schedule is five days - Monday - Saturday. We are closed on Sunday and Wednesday at our Lagrange location and hiring for this location is our top priority.

We are a small group of dedicated people who love what we do. Finding the best person to join us as we grow is of the utmost importance. We have high-quality, unique eyewear collections, from independent designers. Do you excel at sales and enjoy helping customers find the perfect eyeglasses?

Optical experience must include sales, technical aspects of eyewear and lenses, eyeglass repairs and adjustments. Optical pre-testing skills are a plus. Computer skills are a must: experience with Practice Management, Scheduling and Communication software; and checking benefits/filing claims for vision and medical insurance. Do you enjoy Customer Service? We love our patients and customers, and we strive to be the best at what we do.

Eye Mechanix is locally owned and operated In Lincoln Park, Chicago, and La Grange. A plus if you can work in both locations. Optical experience is a must, currently or within the past 18 months. Please only apply if you love the optical business and enjoying providing amazing customer service.
