Eye Level of Aliana is Hiring a Part-time Math Instructor Near Richmond, TX

Part-time in person Math Instructor

Eye Level Learning is a dynamic, after-school enrichment learning center that is seeking an experienced Math instructor to guide students from grades K through 8. The selected instructor will work with students on an individual and small-group basis. All teaching materials are provided, The right teacher must be flexible with his or her personal schedule and be willing to commit to this year-round, part-time position.

Requirements:

  • High School or College students can apply
  • Montessori experience or certified are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent communication skills with adults and children.
  • Sense of responsibility.
  • Patience, enthusiasm, willingness to work with children.
  • Hours can be discussed in the interview
  • Just retired ISD teachers are welcome to apply.

General Responsibilities:

  • Provide appropriate academic coaching to students according to the Center policy.
  • Motivate and encourage students (incentives, certificates, etc.)
  • Discuss with the Director of students’ progress after every session or end of the business day.
  • Personnel (instructor, center assistant) management.
  • May start off with grading booklets, in the beginning, to become familiar with the program.

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule:

  • Monday to Wednesday
  • Weekend availability

Experience:

  • Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: One location

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 12 per week
