Eye Consultants of Pennsylvania is expanding and has a new exciting job opportunity within the medical billing department. Located at the Wyomissing office conveniently off of Route 222.
The newly created Retinal Drug Coordinator is responsible for gathering Pre Authorization for patients in need of Retinal Injectable medications. This position maintains the authorizations as the approvals are returned. Ensure that patients are charged their copay needed for the medications.
The ideal candidate must have detailed data entry and organizational skills for managing yearly drug reports, same day prior authorization, and prepare daily injection schedules.
The candidate must have excellent customer and telephone skills in order to help patients with copay assistance and contacting pharmaceutical companies for drug replacements.
This newly created position is within the billing department. Medical billing experience preferred but not required. Willing to train the right candidate.
This full time position has a weekly schedule of Monday through Friday. ECOP has an excellent benefit package and 401K.
