We have a great opportunity for an Ophthalmic Technician / Medical Assistant to join our busy practice. We provide eye care to a diverse and appreciative patient population in the Buffalo, NY area. Our Technicians are medical professionals that are responsible for the management and well-being of the ophthalmic patients.

We are looking for an energetic and friendly individual with excellent communication skills and is well organized and pays attention to detail

You will work with patients one on one. Primary job responsibilities include documenting patient’s medical history and chief complaint, perform refractions and diagnostic tests, and obtain the patient’s intraocular pressure. The technicians will assist in all aspects and functions of the assigned patient, efficiently and accurately perform ophthalmic testing and provide comprehensive education. A successful candidate is a team player, flexible and responsive, with a strong work ethic, excellent patient services skills and a genuine desire to take their professional skills to a higher level.

The ideal candidate will have one or more years of experience working as an Ophthalmic technician, Optometric technician, Medical Scribe or Optician. While graduates of a medical assisting or Optician program are also desirable, we will consider training the right candidate.
