Job Responsibilities:

• Primary point of contact for scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, assisting with insurance questions and communication with doctors and technicians.
• Verify insurance, submit claims and collect payments from patients and insurance companies.
• Daily cash drawer balancing
• Assist with dispensing glasses and/or providing minor adjustments

Basic Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• TEAM PLAYER with a positive attitude
• Strong customer service skills-including phone communication
• Ability to communicate with patients and coworkers
• Flexibility to work from other locations as needed
• Ability to handle interruptions and multitask
• Punctual/flexible/reliable
• Rotating Saturday availability (8:00-12:00)

Preferred Qualifications (not required):

• 1-2 years medical office/Experience with Electronic Health Records
