  • Accurately and efficiently logging, copying/printing/assembling and distributing tax returns
  • Identifying opportunities to address customer needs and participating in initiatives to improve processes and services
  • Applying knowledge of the business and the industry to identify the real issues facing our clients and providing innovative and pragmatic insights and solutions
  • Working overtime during peak tax-processing time frames

You’ll be able to anticipate and respond to an ever-changing environment in a practical and effective way. Your strong teaming skills will allow you to build relationships and networks across the business at all levels. As you will typically be working on multiple projects and deadlines, your strong organizational skills and keen eye for detail will be key to your success in this role. You’ll need to work independently and proactively to deliver project deliverables.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Experience in managing full scope of tax processing or a high volume administrative background
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent skills in computer/technology (e.g., Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite) applications
  • Aptitude to learn new tax technology applications and perform work electronically, as well as use paper media when necessary
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask and take responsibility for accuracy, quality and meeting deadlines
  • One-plus years of related work experience; experience with tax returns a plus
  • High school diploma with some college or equivalent work experience
  • To qualify for this role, you must have the ability to work within an EY office

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience working for a professional services firm
  • Experience working independently
  • Experience working in a high-volume print processing role with minimal supervision
