• Conduct quality audit and/or surveillance as required to assess the compliance of the supplier to the approved procedures and to verify effectiveness of Supplier Quality Management System.
• Receive, review/study inspection assignment package prior to pre-inspection meeting. Review Lessons Learned of previous supplier/vendor performance (if available) prior to start of work.
• Attend Pre-Inspection Meetings, Kick-off meeting, Pre-production meetings etc., as required.
• Coordinate Inspections / reports with Project delivery Team and vendors/subcontractors. Maintain ownership of Inspection procedures, metrics related to Inspection findings and history files containing all Inspection documentation and related documentation.
• Perform inspection at supplier’s premises/site, to determine product conformity to PO, regulatory requirements, contractual requirements, drawings and technical specifications through inspection and tests in accordance with Quality Plans/ITPs. Appraises product Quality.
• Ensure no open NCR on the equipment / package prior to release.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the correctives actions that vendors proposed as result of the NCRs.
• If Applicable, witness Factory Acceptance Test in accordance with the approved procedure and project specification.
• Sign off Inspection and Test plan for the inspections witnessed/performed and prepare the Inspection Report. All Inspection results needs to be documented and if any non-conformances exist, documentation shall be raised to establish corrective action and close out.
• When vendor inspections are carried out and inspector identifies outstanding work, this shall be recorded in a punch list format and shall be attached to the inspection report and inspection release photographs/test reports to be attached as required.
• Keep evidence of all documents/test reports/certificates reviewed, inspections witnessed.
• Assist Package Managers in the compilation of Inspection documentation and the completion of all discipline records packages to reflect the agreed package handover Index

Show your expertise

• Advance Knowledge/Experience in the implementation and inspection/auditing of Quality Management Systems
• Good computer skills and familiar with use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint.
• Strong Planning Skills.
• Preparation of clear, concise, and comprehensive correspondence and reports.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Audit capability with an Auditor Qualification in ISO 9001:2015. Ideally have completed IRCA Lead Auditor course.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in vendor inspection (OSM) and good knowledge of technical standards for the sector where the inspections are required (mechanical, electrical, E&I, etc.)
