Extreme Engineering Solutions is Hiring an Electronic Technician Near Verona, WI

Job Details
DescriptionExtreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is looking for a detail-oriented Electronic Technician who will be responsible for supporting the assembly and testing of X-ES rugged embedded hardware. Successful candidates will be able to test electronic hardware as well as assemble electronic and mechanical components in accordance with released specifications and drawings. This is a first-shift position with flexible scheduling, paid training, and good benefits.
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Perform functional testing to ensure products meet internal and external requirements.
  • Assemble complex electronics and systems using an array of hand tools, custom fixtures, and specialized tooling.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records.
  • Adhere to all company operating procedures and training requirements.
  • Work with quality and engineering teams to improve product and process quality.
Required Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited high school (or valid General Educational Development certificate).
  • Computer proficiency and a high level of organization with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently.
  • Good hand dexterity and coordination as products and components are typically very small.
  • Ability to work onsite from our facility located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway in Verona, WI.
Desired Qualifications
  • A degree or certificate in Electronics (or similar field) or equivalent work experience is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools and good dexterity and coordination.
  • Prior experience with testing and programming electronic assemblies is a plus.
  • IPC or J-STD accreditation is a plus.
