Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate
Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary requirements
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed
- Collaborate with the dietary department to plan menus that meet nutritional guidelines
- Assist with catering events and special functions as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Operate kitchen equipment and utensils, including knives, in a safe manner
Experience:
- Previous experience in a culinary or cook role is preferred
- Knowledge of food industry standards and practices
- Familiarity with menu planning and dietary guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure meals are prepared on schedule
Skills:
- Culinary expertise in food preparation techniques and flavor combinations
- Proficiency in using kitchen equipment, including knives, stoves, ovens, and grills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and dietary staff
Note: This position must be paid. Internship positions must also offer compensation.
