Part-time: Summer 2024 Extended School Year Special Education Program - Special Education Teachers for Autism ProgramsLevels: Teachers needed for Preschool & Elementary classroomsLocation: Center Elementary SchoolDates: July 8 - August 8, 2024Program is Monday through Thursday (no programming on Fridays)Teacher Hours: 7:30AM to 1:15 PM (5.75 hours/day)Qualified candidates will provide ABA programming for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The students attend 4 or 5 hours/day. The focus of instruction is based on individual students' IEPs in order for them to review, practice and maintain previously learned skills. - Understanding & experience teaching with the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis- Experience with discrete trial instruction- Monitor student progress toward achievement of instructional goals and write end of ESY progress reports.- Plan and maintain a program of instruction that is conducive to the attainment of individual students' ESY goals and objectives on their IEP.- Facilitate and support paraprofessionals assigned to the classroom
