Duties:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Medication reminders for clients so medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals can be administered.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing.
- Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients.
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is required.
- Knowledge of first aid and basic medical procedures.
- Familiarity with nursing home or memory care settings is a plus.
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
- Willing to drive within 40 minutes of clients location.
