Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. We currently have adult and pediatric patients with open shifts available immediately in Allentown, Bechtelsville, and Macungie as well as additional referrals coming in every day to meet your scheduling needs.
Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding
- Medication reminders under the supervision of a nurse
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare team members
Experience:
- Must have completed state-approved Home Health Aide Training Program. All applicants will be required to provide proof of certification/training.
- Previous direct care/personal care experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely and comfortably
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program
- Ability to meet medical requirements, including physical and TB screenings
- Ability to pass a background check
