Wound Care Nurse
RN or LPN
The Wound Care Nurse will provide primary skincare to residents, by identifying, managing and treating skin disorders, lesions and decubitus ulcers in a long-term care setting.The Wound Care Nurse participates in the development and implementation of care plans and will educate residents, staff and families regarding the importance of nutrition, hydration, and repositioning to help promote the healing process.
The Wound Care Nurse musthave the following:
·Current Illinois RN or LPN license
·1 year experience in long-term care setting.
·Previous experience as a Wound Care Nurse preferred.
