LAUNDRY AIDE

Our Laundry Aides have an eye for detail. You find joy in providing excellent customer service and love to spend time with senior adults. Responsible for assuring that an adequate supply of clean linen and personal clothing are available to residents and staff. Picks up soiled linen and personal resident laundry and transports to the laundry. Operates washers and dryers properly, folds and stores clean personal items and linens and delivers to residents and staff.

Requirements:

· Must be a team player while being able to work independently

· History of excellent attendance

· Must enjoy being of service to senior adults

· Maintains a neat, professional appearance

· Housekeeping and/or laundry experience preferred

· Must be able to follow oral and written instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc.

· Ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members and other personnel

· Maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc.

· Maintain working area for sanitation, order and safety
