The Laundry Aide/Housekeeping is Responsible for helping maintain the cleanliness of the facility by:

Clean residents’ rooms including:

Making sure bathrooms are clean and tidy.

Sweeping and mopping rooms and bathrooms

Cleaning and making beds as assigned.

Cleaning common areas such as, front lobby, nurses’ stations, public bathrooms, offices, etc.

Assists in room changes as needed.

Collect and launder residents clothing and distribute to rooms.

Picking up dirty linens, washing, drying and folding.

Laundry Aide/Housekeeping Requirements:

• Related experience preferred.
• Previous experience working in healthcare industry preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong verbal and listening skills.
• Multi-tasking skills.
• Passion for helping others.
• Excellent customer service.
• Teamwork qualities.
• Dependability
• Reliability
