DIRECTOR OF NURSING

Our Skilled Nursing Facility, located near Tinley Park, IL is seeking a Director of Nursing, RN who is self-motivated, has previous experience, is organized, and has excellent communication skills. The Director of Nursing will assist us in achieving our mission of growing a quality-oriented and employee-friendly organization.Director of Nursing Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, implement, evaluate, and direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing department, in accordance with company policy and all appropriate regulations.
• Participate in facility surveys/inspections from regulatory agencies as requested by the administrator.
• Assist with developing, implementing, and periodically updating resident written discharge plans.
• Performance of administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc., as necessary throughout the day.

Director of Nursing Qualifications:

• Licensed as an RN in the state of IL
• Previous experience in a long-term care facility
• Previous nurse supervisor experience
• Expertise in staff education and change management
