Admissions Director

Our Skilled Nursing Facility, located near Lincolnwood, IL is seeking an Admissions Director who is self-motivated, has previous experience, is organized, and has excellent communication skills. The Admissions Director will assist us in achieving our mission of growing a quality-oriented and employee-friendly organization.Admissions Director Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the complete admission process of new and returning residents.
• Manage referral process.
• Conduct facility tours as necessary.
• Communicate to the IDT team information on new admissions, discharges, and readmissions.
• Meet and greet new residents and family members and obtain required documentation and signatures.
• Collaborate with the Business office on daily census reconciliation.
• Participate in morning and afternoon meetings.
• Participate in the bed management process.
• Assist with room moves as needed.

Admissions Director Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a nursing home or long-term care admissions and/or marketing.
• In-depth knowledge of the admission process and Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, Managed Care, and other payer types.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to work well in a team setting.
• Positive and enthusiastic approach to tasks.
• Reliable and self-starter.
