We are now taking applications for a Full Time Floral Consultant.

This job is 28 hours a week.

Our store is open 7 days a week.

8:00 am-6:00 pm Monday through Friday and on Saturday 8:00 am-3:00 pm. Sundays Noon-4:00 pm

Saturdays are required. Not every Saturday, but you will be asked to work on Saturdays. Holidays are also our busy time. Keep that in mind. You will be asked to work overtime on and around holidays.

This is a retail customer service role. We are the face and voice of the company.

This is not a floral design position. We are not responsible for creating or design.

Your main priority would be helping clients that come into our store location and answering telephone phone calls/taking orders for prospective clients.

The normal daily tasks to be completed by all team members would consist of: Restocking fresh flower coolers, watering/restocking plants, sweeping, windexing, vaccuming, inventorying and dispursing hard goods.

Other tasks will include creating/breaking down seasonal displays (during normal working hours), window displays, new product displays and assisting other departments as needed.

80-90% of this shift is conducted standing up.

-Happy and peppy with a great attitude that will translate over the phone.

-Able to understand people of different origins and ethnicities when they are talking to you.

-Multi-task while keeping a calm demeanor.

-Able to prioritize daily tasks and assignments to completeness with minor management direction.

-Able to write pretty (legible) and help clients come up with clever, romantic, silly, sympathetic, apologetic and celebratory cards.

-Able to lift 20lbs.

-Always ready to give a helping hand to other co-workers.

-Computer Literate, meaning you can use a POS system or learn computer programs quickly.

-Social Media Aware.

-Creative and able to think outside the box for unconventional requests.

You do not have to have floral industry experience, just a good work ethic!
