Job Title: Store Manager
Overview:
This is a great opportunity to join a locally owned retail and equipment rental company that is growing and looking to add an experienced manager to the team. Flexible schedules, room for growth, personal training, and a family feel are some of the benefits of working in this role. If you have several years of experience managing employees as well as knowledge of equipment rentals and retail, you may be a great fit for this position.
Salary: $58,000 - $62,000 per year
Schedule: Flexible averaging 40-45 hours per week between Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Saturday - Sunday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise a team of retail sales and mechanical workers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
2. Adjust daily schedules for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency and coverage.
3. Train and evaluate employees to maintain high standards of performance and customer service.
4. Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting purposes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive sales and profitability.
5. Resolve escalated customer complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner, maintaining positive relationships with customers and ensuring their satisfaction.
6. Utilize Epicor software or equivalent business management system to manage inventory, track sales, and analyze performance metrics.
7. Collaborate with other store managers and corporate leadership to implement company policies and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
8. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements.
9. Foster a positive and supportive work culture, promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development among team members.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in retail, customer service, or related fields.
2. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, employees, and stakeholders.
4. Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their full potential.
5. Proficiency with Epicor software or equivalent business management system preferred.
6. High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
